Network Meeting 08/05 - Regeneration In North Manchester





Thank you to everyone who joined our meeting on the 8th May. It was fantastic to see so many representatives from businesses across North Manchester. We enjoyed some truly insightful presentations followed by a lively networking hour. 


James Collier, the District Centres Programme Manager, provided members with an update on the Council’s investment in various locations throughout North Manchester. He also gave an overview of the Strangeways & Cambridge Strategic Regeneration Framework, which is currently open for public consultation until 26th May. Following this, Louise McManus, the Delivery Lead for the Eastern Gateway, presented an overview of the Holt Town Neighbourhood Development Framework, which was recently endorsed by the City Council Executive Committee. Lastly, Fiona Hewitt from MCC informed members about an upcoming event designed to help Manchester employers learn more about partnering with the DWP and MCC for recruitment.
